This bike rack, for the city of Eugene was completed and installed last year. It was my first experience with public work and a great learning experience. The 15 foot bike wheel was made from 1 inch steel strapping and about a hundred miles of weld bead. I worked along side Artist Lee Imonen and students from the local college. Basin
I had the pleasure last summer to work with Artist Lee Imonen on "Basin", a public art piece commissioned for the civil Engineering Department of the Oregon Institute of Technology, in Kalamath Falls Oregon. This amazing sculpture was created in a mere 3 months. It was a great experience.
